DreamBuilt was started around a kitchen table in 2018 by a father and son who'd spent two decades framing homes across Utah. We've grown — but only just. We still answer the phone ourselves.
It started with one house.
Marcus framed his first house in 1996, working summers between college semesters for an old-school general contractor in Bountiful. He never went back. By 2010 he'd built enough homes across northern Utah to fill a small phonebook and decided it was time to stop framing for someone else.
Eli grew up on those job sites — first sweeping sawdust, then swinging a hammer, then running a framing crew of his own at twenty-two. In 2018, over coffee at a kitchen table in North Ogden, the two of them sketched out what would become DreamBuilt: a remodeling studio that does fewer things, better.
